Congressman Bell believes our national security depends on the United States strengthening our alliances, maintaining a strong global force posture, and supporting our democratic allies and partners around the world.

Congressman Bell serves as a member of both the House Armed Services Committee and House Foreign Affairs Committee. 

Legislative Actions

  • Introduced the Baltic Security Assessment Act of 2025: a bill aimed at assessing emerging military, cyber, hybrid, and political threats to the Baltic nations, also identifying opportunities to strengthen U.S.–Baltic defense cooperation, reinforce the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) collective defense posture, bolster cybersecurity infrastructure, and enhance democratic resilience in the region.
  • Led an Armed Services’ letter calling for the Department of Defense to take measures to protect the well-being of servicemembers aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group.
  • Serves as the Co-Chair of the Congressional Bosnia Caucus, advocating for the sovereignty and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including introducing the Upholding the Dayton Peace Agreement Through Sanctions Act.
