Washington, District of Columbia
Interns in the Washington, DC office assist with front office operations, including greeting guests and constituents, answering the phone, giving constituents tours, and processing other inquiries. Additionally, interns assist staff with communications and legislative work through attending briefings and hearings, researching legislative topics, and compiling memos. Interns gain invaluable work experience, and learn Congress works firsthand. Internship hours are flexible to accommodate students' hectic course schedules during the semesters but generally run 9:00a.m. to 5:00pm. Summer interns are generally expected to work full time in the office.
St. Louis, Missouri
