Washington, D.C.— Today, Representatives Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) and Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) introduced the St. Louis Postal Accountability and Reform (STL Up To PAR) Act, to direct the United States Postal Service (USPS) to submit a report to Congress on mail and package delivery service performance in the St. Louis region.

Washington, D.C.— Today, Representative Wesley Bell (D-Mo.)’s Baltic Security Assessment Act of 2025, a bipartisan measure to ensure the United States maintains a clear, comprehensive understanding of the threats facing Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania from hostile actors, including Russia, China, Iran, Belarus, and North Korea, passed out of the House Foreign Affairs Committee with a 41-3 vote.

Washington, D.C.— Today, Representatives Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) and Gus Bilirakis (R-Fla.) re-introduced a bipartisan resolution recognizing April as Parkinson’s Awareness Month. The resolution honors the more than one million Americans living with Parkinson’s disease and calls for increased public awareness, federal research investment, and support for individuals and families affected by the condition.

Washington, D.C.— Today, Representatives Wesley Bell (D-Mo.), Joe Courtney (D-Ct.), and John Garamendi (D-Ca.) wrote a letter to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth expressing concern regarding the condition, operational strain, and crew welfare aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group as its deployment approaches its tenth consecutive month at sea. The letter was signed by Democratic Members of the House Armed Services Committee.

Washington, D.C.— Today, Representatives Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) and Greg Stanton (D-Az.) introduced a resolution to recognize the critical missions of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and express concern that the systematic reduction of their career workforces has undermined those missions and endangered the safety and security of United States citizens.

Washington, D.C.— Today, Representative Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) introduced the Ensuring Prosecutorial Scrutiny, Transparency, and Equal Impartiality Nationwide Act, or the EPSTEIN Act, to establish an independent, bipartisan commission to investigate and provide oversight, transparency, and accountability over the Department of Justice's handling of the Epstein Files.

Washington, D.C.—Today, U.S. Representatives Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) and Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) introduced the FEMA Accountability Act, legislation that would require the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to publicly report, on a monthly basis, how disaster relief funds are being obligated and spent.

Washington, D.C.—Today, U.S. Representative Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) introduced the No ICE Ads Act, legislation that would prohibit the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from obligating or expending funds to produce, purchase, distribute, or broadcast television advertisements intended to promote U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), recruit ICE personnel, or enhance ICE’s public image or branding.

Washington, D.C.—Today, U.S. Representatives Wesley Bell (D-Mo.), Deborah Ross (D-N.C.), Richard Hudson (R-N.C.), and Mark Messmer (R-Ind.) introduced the bipartisan Defense Technology Hubs Act of 2026, directing the Department of Defense to create a nationwide network of regional hubs focused on accelerating emerging defense technologies.

Washington, D.C.—Today, U.S. Representatives Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) and Doris Matsui (D-Calif.) led over 80 of their colleagues in sending a letter to President Donald J. Trump calling on his Administration to restore funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) following its elimination in the Rescissions Act of 2025. The lawmakers warn that cutting CPB funding will weaken local journalism, jeopardize public safety, and destabilize the federal appropriations process.
